Physics PhD, Data Scientist

A little about me

  • Image

I now work in the private sector. I earned a PhD in the Physics department of Columbia University in the City of New York; my research focused on Cosmology, a branch of astrophysics that studies the universe at its largest scales. My work was mostly computational, involving physics based simulations and mathematical modeling of large datasets. I was also involved in the Physics department teaching programs, where I serve as a teaching assistant for some laboratory classes, as well as co-instructor in the Science Honors Program, in which I teach a class on Modern Cosmology.
